The Final of the High Technology Championship will take place from September 17 to 21 in Veliky Novgorod. The Final is expected to feature 112 competitors from 36 regions of the Russian Federation (91 in the main age category, 21 in the «Junior» category), as well as 14 competitors from 7 foreign countries and 13 corporate representatives from the relevant industry. As part of the business program, strategic issues regarding workforce training will be discussed, including opportunities for ensuring the country's personnel sovereignty, particularly the competencies that tomorrow's professionals should possess. Special meetings will focus on mentorship and the formation of project teams, as well as the interaction between education and partner enterprises. Representatives from key ministries are expected to participate, including the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as major companies and public organizations such as RSPP, VEF, Rosatom, Rostec, and others.

The Championship will feature students from colleges and technical schools, high school seniors, and young professionals competing against each other.

A notable feature of this year's Championship is its accessibility to all interested spectators, not just competitors and experts as in previous years. Attendees will be able to move between pavilions and observe all stages of the competitions.

Three hundred volunteers, each having undergone special training, will assist participants and spectators at the Championship venues.

The event will gather students, schoolchildren, and spectators of all ages from Russia and abroad.

The main innovation this year is the increase in the number of competencies from eight to twelve (four of which are for schoolchildren) and the opening of competitive venues for spectators. This will be made possible by holding a series of competitions in outdoor pavilions at the Innovative Science and Technology Center «Intellectual Electronics — Valdai.» Most of the pavilions have already been set up. The organizers have also planned video broadcasts for each day of the Championship.

This year, participants in one of the competitive tracks (competencies) will create a mobile game based on a technical assignment from the Ministry of Education of the Novgorod Region. The storyline will be based on the history of Veliky Novgorod. Developers will need to adapt it into an engaging format to draw attention to the city as a popular tourist destination.

Based on its results, organizers hope not only to assess children's and teenagers' interest in future professions but also to identify potential participants for upcoming High Technology Championships.

The All-Russian Championship Movement for Professional Skills aims to support talented young specialists and their employment in leading domestic manufacturing companies. It includes various events related to the Championship.

The competitions will take place from September 17 to 21. More than 120 contestants from various regions of Russia are registered for the Championship final, with representatives from over 10 foreign countries expected to participate.

The main innovation this year is the increase in the number of competencies. Among them is a competency for mobile game development, which includes a specific task: participants are required to present a game for mass use that reflects the history of Veliky Novgorod. Another interesting competency is «Digital Opportunities for Business,» with a technical assignment developed by representatives of the company «1C.» The competency «Synthesis of Compact Models of Electronic Components and Systems» involves creating algorithms capable of identifying vulnerabilities in manufacturing models, which will help save materials and time in their production. The competitive cases illustrate the main goal of the Championship: to identify innovators among the participants, representatives of future professions, and promising specialists needed by Russian innovative enterprises. As a result, winners and prizeholders will have the opportunity to undergo internships at the partner companies of the High Technology Championship.

Workstations will be set up for each competency competition. The junior block of the competitive section will feature four competencies: «Agrobots (Agricultural Robots),» «Development of Virtual Worlds,» «Smart Home Systems,» and «Optoelectronics.» Each pavilion will be equipped with the necessary tools for demonstrating participants’ skills, and after the Championship, this equipment will be handed over to colleges of Novgorod State University, where each competency will continue to develop and be included in the curriculum.

For the first time, spectators will have free access to the Final venues. Eight competencies will take place in pavilions specially constructed at the «Intellectual Electronics — Valdai» center. The total area for the Championship events exceeds 4,000 square meters. More than three hundred volunteers will assist participants and guests during the Championship.

Fourth-year student Ekaterina Korneyeva is one of the contenders for victory in the competency «Developer of Mechatronic Rehabilitation Systems (Exoskeletons).» Mechatronics is a scientific and technical field that involves creating and servicing machines with computer-controlled movement. Examples of mechatronic systems include robots and manipulators. Participants in the Championship for this competency must possess knowledge in modeling, 3D scanning, and IT technologies. Ekaterina, like her competitors, will receive a handheld scanner on-site, which she will use to digitally copy a human limb, and then she will develop and model an exoskeleton for it before printing the resulting model on a 3D printer.

Another participant in the Championship Final from Veliky Novgorod is third-year student Dmitry Kozyukov from the Polytechnic College of Novgorod State University. He is aiming for victory in the competency «Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Complex Unmanned Systems.» His task, along with his competitors, will be to synchronize the operation of multiple UAVs to deliver cargo along a set route. The organizers promise that about a third of the initial data will be changed on competition days to complicate the task, which will need to be solved on-site.

The selection of competencies is determined by the requirements of the digital economy, the widespread implementation of high-tech production practices, and trends toward import substitution.

In addition to the competitive component, the Final of the Championship will include business and exhibition programs. At least 1,000 delegates are expected to participate.

The High Technology Championship is part of the All-Russian Championship Movement for Professional Skills, which has been implemented since 2023 by decision of President V.V. Putin as part of the federal project «Professionalitet.» In addition to the High Technology Championship, the movement includes the «Professionals» Championship in professional skills. On September 17, Veliky Novgorod hosted the opening ceremony of the Final of the High-Tech Championship. It is organized by the Ministry of Education of Russia and unites students of colleges and technical schools, high school students and young professionals from 80 regions and 17 countries: the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Ghana, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Syrian Arab Republic and others.

The event was opened by a procession of teams participating in the Championship. Talented young men and women who are interested in science were accompanied by musical groups from the monument "Millennium of Russia" to the new Alexander Nevsky embankment, where the main festive program unfolded.

A light and pyrotechnic show was held on the new Alexander Nevsky embankment. And then the flags of the regions and countries participating in the Championship were brought to the stage. The parade of teams was accompanied by a video presentation of the territories represented by the finalists. Then the anthem of the Russian Federation was performed by the children's consolidated choir of the Novgorod region.

The event continued with a theatrical presentation of competencies in the blocks: earth, water, air, fire. The solemn ceremony was completed by the performance of singer Vanya Dmitrienko. On September 19, as part of the business program of the High-Tech Championship Finals, a round table was held on the topic "The labor potential of Abilimpix participants: from working professions to high-tech skills." The participants discussed how the introduction of advanced competencies within the framework of Abilimpics events contributes to improving the competitiveness of workers with disabilities and disabilities.

The session was moderated by Natalia Stinchkum, Deputy Head of the Federal Methodological Center for Inclusive Education and the National Center "Abilimpics" of the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education

To date, the Abilimpics championship includes 18 high-tech competencies, five of which will become the main ones and will be prese nted at the final of the National Championship in Moscow in 2024. This year, three new competencies will be presented for the first time: "Architect of the Future – neural network art", "Mobile application development" and "Operation of service robots". The expansion of high-tech areas will help participants with disabilities and disabilities not only develop their talents, but also meet the demands of the modern economy, which, according to Natalia Stinchkum, forms their demand regardless of restrictions.

Ekaterina Kanatnikova, Head of the Abilimpics Movement Support Department at the Federal Methodological Center for Inclusive Education, noted that the introduction of high technologies contributes to the improvement of skills necessary for a successful professional career of participants with disabilities.

Anastasia Ivanova, head of the Regional Center for the Development of the Abilimpics Movement in St. Petersburg, shared her experience in implementing future competencies in her region. Svetlana Selyugina, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Applied Sciences of the Anatoly Sobchak International Banking Institute, emphasized the important role of business in training qualified specialists. Andrey Muravyov, Associate Professor of Economics, Organization and Production Management at BSTU VOENMEH and Head of the Center for Informatization of Education at the College of Tourism and Hotel Services in St. Petersburg, shared his opinion on how innovative competencies affect the employment of participants in the open labor market.

The partners of the Abilimpics movement are actively involved in these events. In 2023, 2,170 employers took part in the regional championships. Among the participants of the round table were Dmitry Kirillov, CEO of ModumLab LLC, and Ivan Komarov, Head of the Educational robotics department at MGBot LLC and Deputy Head of Industrial Robotics at Robohood LLC. They discussed the importance of high-tech industries in the rehabilitation and career guidance of people with disabilities and disabilities.

Dmitry Kirillov noted the importance of developing competencies related to artificial intelligence. According to him, new directions, such as «Architect of the Future — neural network art», train participants to work with neural networks, which increases labor productivity.

The final of the High-Tech Championship takes place in Veliky Novgorod from September 17 to 21, where 137 participants demonstrate their skills. Within the framework of the business program, more than 30 events are planned with the participation of representatives of federal and regional authorities, industry organizations and foreign delegations.

This allows us to take into account the requirements of enterprises when developing educational programs. However, the creation or modification of regulatory documents is a long and time—consuming process.

Roman Aslanov, head of the Informatization Department of the Moscow Automobile and Road State Technical University, shared interesting examples of the use of virtual reality in various fields, including companies, medicine and career guidance events. Pavel Ivanov, Optoelectronics Competence Manager, spoke about his experience in developing and updating federal State Educational Standards (FGOS). He stressed that the championship movement promotes effective interaction between the expert community, regions and the general public. The feedback received is an important factor in creating educational standards.

Alexander Osadchy, Head of the Center for Methodological Support of the All-Russian Championship Movement of the Institute, highlighted the topic of Championships as platforms for testing new and updating existing competencies. He also shared plans for the development of the movement next year. Alexander recalled the structure of the movement, the features of the Championships and the categories of participation.

A representative of the Federal Operator answered the questions of the audience and invited everyone to the Final of the Professionals Championship, which will be held in November in St. Petersburg.

On September 19, a panel discussion entitled "New technologies of augmented and virtual reality: vectors of development of innovative industries" took place within the framework of the Final of the High-Tech Championship. The experts gathered at the event discussed the rapid progress of VR and AR technologies.

Yana Charuyskaya, Executive Director of the Department of Experimental Machine Learning Systems at Sberbank, in her speech highlighted four main areas of augmented reality use: scanning objects, creating avatars, generating objects and modeling virtual scenes. She stressed that interactive spaces will soon be actively used for team building and business meetings.

Victoria Makarova, methodologist at Innovations, noted that VR technologies are already being used in such large Russian corporations as Uralchem, Russian Railways and Rosseti. She added: «The sooner young professionals try their hand at development, the sooner they will be able to determine their career path and become in-demand professionals.»

Natalia Ivanova, CEO of IPR MEDIA, added that virtual simulators play an important role in children’s education, increasing their involvement and speeding up the process of learning educational materials. «VR and AR make the learning process more visual and effective,» she said.

The speakers emphasized that the successful development of virtual reality technologies directly depends on the training of qualified developers. Education should begin at school and continue in colleges.

In addition, experts noted that in the coming years, VR and AR will be integrated into a variety of fields, ranging from medicine to architecture, providing new opportunities for professional and personal development. It is important that the education system is ready for these changes, offering students modern and practical courses so that they can successfully cope with the demands of the future.

On September 20, as part of the final of the High-Tech Championship, a panel discussion "Career guides: mentoring practices in industrial training" was held. Among the listeners actively participating in the dialogue were representatives of both the technological, industrial sectors, and vocational education from different regions of the country.

The central themes of the event were updating the professional skills of teachers, as well as mentoring and its formats.

Maria Kudrina, Head of the Mentoring Committee of the Federation of Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, acted not only as a speaker, but also as a moderator of the session.

Alexander Belanov (Weiss), Executive Secretary of the working group on information business and the blogosphere at the State Duma of the Russian Federation, member of the coordinating council of the group of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) on digitalization, shared general trends and views on mentoring among young people, and also noted negative trends in this direction.

«Watching is important. It is very important to learn how to distinguish a professional from someone who is not,» Alexander said.

As part of the active discussion, issues such as the employee's path, corporate culture and the role of mentoring in these areas, optimization of work and processes through mentoring, updating the professional skills of teachers, as well as current trends in the labor market were raised.

Galina Savelyeva, Head of the Department of Software and Resource support for educational activities of the Moscow State Technological University «STANKIN», noted the importance of motivation. «Getting motivated students is very, very important,» Savelieva said.

Maria Kudrina summed up the results and noted the important qualities of a good specialist in this field, such as expertise, competencies, values and technologies.

«Mentoring cannot be static — it is a dynamic, adaptive practice,» said Maria Kudrina, head of the Mentoring Committee of the Federation of Professional Coaches and Mentors Association.

On September 20, a round table was held on the topic «Testing of technological solutions as a format for achieving technological and personnel sovereignty in the field of UAS». The speakers discussed the role of drones in various industries, security issues and training of personnel to work with them.

Polina Mozgaleva, Deputy Director of the UAS Competence Center of the University 2035, spoke about the national competition system for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and their importance. «For many, drones seem to be something dangerous, but few people know that they are already actively used in monitoring, logistics and agriculture. Our task is to show what these technologies are and why they are useful.»

Sergey Sobolev, senior lecturer at the Department of Modeling of Electromechanical and Computer Systems at St. Petersburg State University, stressed the importance of safety in unmanned systems: «The main thing is to protect people and infrastructure. Security must be ensured even in the face of information attacks. The teams practice these aspects at competitions.»

Margarita Bakustina, Head of Youth competitions at Geoscan, noted the value of engineering experience: «When applying for a job, we pay attention to the participation of candidates in competitions.»

Sergey Salkutsan, director of the DPO center of the Advanced Engineering School «Digital Engineering», spoke about unusual competitions on simulator simulators that teach management solutions: «We have already agreed with the administration of St. Petersburg to integrate these simulators into the educational process of colleges. Starting this year, we will train teachers and hold student championships.»

The speakers came to the conclusion that we live in a historical moment when a new industry is emerging. And although unmanned systems work autonomously, they still depend on humans. Therefore, it is extremely important to train specialists who are able to master and improve new technologies.

The participants enthusiastically embraced the idea of the need for changes in the education system. They not only discussed the issues of vocational guidance for schoolchildren and student education, but also touched upon the trend of profession change among the adult generation, including pensioners.

The director of ANO «School 21» Alexander Fedyakov shared the experience of his educational institution:

— We have been working for six years and can boast of good employment results. It is important to note that we are open to all ages, starting from the age of 18 and without an upper limit. Our oldest student is a 63—year-old man who successfully masters digital technology and programming. Our training is free of charge. Our campuses are open around the clock, 365 days a year, which allows participants to combine their studies with work or other education.

The director of ANO «School 21» invited the participants of the discussion to visit the Novgorod campus of «School 21», which will celebrate its first anniversary on September 21. The campus was opened at INTC Intelligent Electronics — Valdai in partnership with the Government of the Novgorod Region and Novgorod State University. There are 12 teachers on campus who build their relationships with students on an equal—to-equal basis.

On September 18, as part of the business program of the High Technology Championship, a plenary session was held on the topic of «Technological leadership strategy: synergy of innovation, education and business.» The session was moderated by Dmitry Shishkin, Director of the Administrative Department of the State Corporation Roscosmos.

The session discussed key issues of the Russian global technological strategy. Participants discussed the current challenges faced by companies, as well as ways to solve them. They also considered the readiness of the education system to respond to these challenges and global trends, as well as the measures taken to more fully integrate the personnel training system with market requirements.

Alexander Bugayev, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, addressed the participants of the plenary session with a welcoming speech. He noted:

«The strategy of technological leadership is becoming the cornerstone of economic growth and sustainability of our country. The Federal Project „Professionality“ and the All-Russian Championship Movement help bring together employers, graduates and educational organizations to work together for the benefit of our country. Of course, the conditions are changing rapidly, and we must comply with them. The High-Tech Championship presents the most advanced competencies that are currently in demand: unmanned technologies, competencies related to programming, with artificial intelligence technologies. Until recently, it was difficult to imagine that these areas would be studied by students of secondary vocational education. And the fact that these competencies are now included in the curricula of technical schools and colleges is the best confirmation that the system of secondary vocational education in our country is changing and becoming one of the most modern systems for training personnel for the needs of the national economy.»

For the second year in a row, the High-Tech Championship is being held in Veliky Novgorod. Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Novgorod Region Anna Timofeeva emphasized that the region did everything possible to ensure that the participants of the business program were comfortable working, and the contestants were able to compete.

«After holding the first Final of the High-Tech Championship in Veliky Novgorod last year, we have seen an increased interest from Novgorod Region enterprises in the secondary vocational education system. There are more of our students who are successfully employed in their specialty immediately after graduating from colleges and technical schools. The number of professions that we introduce into the secondary vocational education system at the request of employers has increased. Students from 56 regions of the country and seven foreign countries study in Novgorod colleges and technical schools. It is important that all the equipment that was used for the Championship competitions will become a practical base for our students. This is a good example for all regions of the country, which we advise to use the resources of the All-Russian championship movement. Likewise, all the decisions developed within the framework of the business program of the Championship, we will continue to work out with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and implement in our work.»

On behalf of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Northwestern Federal District Alexander Gutsan, his deputy Olga Atyukova expressed hope that the joint work of the assembled representatives of educational organizations, experts of the Championship Movement and employees of specialized government agencies will help solve important problems related to Russia's achievement of technological sovereignty:

«It is important to ensure the synchronization of plans for increasing production volumes, providing services, and the corresponding growth in personnel needs at enterprises with plans for training new specialists by higher and secondary specialized education institutions. This issue is especially relevant for enterprises of the defense industry complex, for which staffing is our priority task. It is necessary to provide our industrial enterprises and research organizations with highly trained personnel who currently possess the most in-demand competencies.»

Viktor Neumyvakin, Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Secondary Vocational Education and Vocational Training of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, gave a report in which he spoke about how the system of vocational education is changing in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market.

He presented the participants with a plan for the development of secondary vocational education for the period up to 2030, noting that this system should be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the economy:

«Together with colleges and enterprises, we are learning to respond flexibly to the demands that have emerged in our economy and the labor market. This year, 56 percent of budget places in colleges and technical schools are reserved for technical professions and specialties. Educational programs are also changing — we have rewritten all the standards of secondary vocational education over the past three years. In order to ensure the transition to other admission targets and other educational programs, we have fundamentally changed the approach to the training and retraining of teaching staff. Masters of industrial training and teachers of specialized disciplines are now key figures in improving the quality and training of specialists. And of course, it is very important for us to be ready to provide the economy with personnel — we need equipment on which we train students. No other branch of education currently has such a number of hours of practical training, and on equipment actually used in production.»

In the Novgorod Region, three educational and production clusters operate within the framework of the federal project «Professionality»: in the field of radio electronics, construction and chemical industry. Colleges and technical schools of the region cooperate with existing enterprises, which allows for the provision of practice-oriented training for students.

Senator of the Russian Federation Elena Pisareva, representing the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture, noted that one of the key initiatives is to involve businesses in the partnership management of educational organizations. According to her, this contributes to the most effective and practice-oriented training:

«Many employers in our Novgorod region understand the importance of their own participation very well. Enterprises equip professional colleges with laboratories in which they will work in production. Children, gaining experience in colleges and technical schools, are already becoming professionals. And, of course, the enterprises themselves need this. Therefore, their involvement in the educational process is very important.»

Dina Oyun, member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and member of the Committee on Budget and Financial Markets, heads the regional supervisory board for the federal project «Professionality» in the Republic of Tyva. In her speech, she drew attention to the differences between regions with developed industrial production and those where small-scale business prevails. These differences, according to her, affect the establishment of admission targets for higher education institutions: «When building technological sovereignty, it is necessary to take into account that there are regions with different economic orientations, so that everyone moves forward together.»

The High-Tech Championship is taking place in Veliky Novgorod from September 17 to 21. As part of this event, 139 participants demonstrate their professional skills in 12 innovative competencies. The business program includes more than 30 events, which will be attended by representatives of federal and regional government bodies, industry, educational organizations and friendly countries.

The final of the 2024 High—Tech Championship was attended by more than 12 thousand people — this is the total number of contestants, experts and participants of various programs, as well as spectators who attended the opening and closing ceremonies. Another 400 thousand people watched broadcasts of the Championship events online. This year, the geography of participants has significantly expanded: 137 contestants competed in 12 competencies for the main category and 4 competencies for juniors. They were evaluated by 166 experts. Delegations from 81 regions of the Russian Federation and 16 foreign countries, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, India and China, took part in the competitions, events of the business and cultural programs of the Championship. The participants of the press conference agreed that the issues of training young specialists of a new formation require proactive actions: predicting market demands and technology changes, it is necessary to dynamically update the list of specialties in which training is conducted, and the very methodology of training future professionals. Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to train one million specialists and skilled workers by 2028. To achieve this goal and improve the quality of secondary education, comprehensive work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project «Professionalism».

This year, about 860 thousand young specialists graduated from colleges, the first graduation of the «Professionalitet» took place — more than 137 thousand specialists of the new format from 220 clusters in 68 regions of the country received diplomas. The round table «Forecast of personnel needs: search for solutions to eliminate the imbalance between supply and demand» was held as part of the High-Tech Championship in Veliky Novgorod. The discussion, organized by the Committee of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) on secondary vocational education, vocational training and vocational guidance with the assistance of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Novgorod Region, brought together representatives of federal and regional authorities, employers, public and professional communities and professional organizations of the SPO system.

The problem of personnel shortage is getting worse in industry. In conditions when every fifth enterprise in the country reports a shortage of skilled workers, one of the tools for solving the problem is new approaches to forecasting personnel needs. Thus, according to the study conducted by the RSPP Committee on Secondary Vocational Education, Vocational Training and Career Guidance together with the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis and Short-Term Forecasting, there is currently a shortage of specialists with secondary vocational education, which will amount to 3.6 million people by 2035. In addition, the results of the study reflect the presence of structural imbalances between the demand and supply of specialists both at the levels of the education system and by groups of professions. Many steps to correct the situation have already been taken by both the state and business, but additional measures are needed to develop effective mechanisms that will help meet the personnel needs of the Russian economy.

According to the participants of the discussion, one of the current issues is the synchronization of the mechanisms for collecting the personnel needs of employers with the model for forming the admission target figures in the region. Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Secondary Vocational Education and Vocational Training of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Viktor Neumyvakinikto noted that the need for personnel and the admission target figures for secondary vocational education programs are not always equivalent. The problem is much broader and covers, according to Viktor Neumyvakin, sociological factors. It is extremely important to continue work on popularizing secondary vocational education, as well as explaining to children the importance of blue-collar jobs for the economy already from school.

Representatives of the largest Russian companies (Rosatom State Corporation, Russian Railways OJSC, R-Pharm JSC) shared their successful practices in forming the personnel needs for specialists. The participants of the discussion agreed that the solution to the issues of providing personnel trained for production tasks largely depends on the effective interaction of enterprises with educational organizations of secondary vocational education.

Mikhail Ivanov, Deputy Chairman of the RSPP Committee on Secondary Vocational Education, Vocational Training and Career Guidance, noted that partnership between business and the state helps to most effectively prepare personnel to meet the demands of the real sector of the economy.

«An example of such successful interaction is the federal project „Professionality“, aimed at synchronizing the personnel needs of enterprises with the capabilities of the secondary vocational education system. We, on behalf of the RSPP, will continue to make proposals to improve the implementation of the project by businesses. We would like to draw special attention to the issues of material and technical support for colleges. Business should be involved in solving these problems. One of the measures to increase the interest of employers was the law on the right to an investment tax deduction for companies that support educational organizations. Further steps are needed to introduce appropriate changes to the legislation of the regions of the Russian Federation. We hope that in the near future the number of regions that have adopted the necessary law will increase significantly. The corporation is preparing a large-scale project to implement serial production of spacecraft. If implemented, the initiative will allow for the formation of a sufficient number of in-demand space services, including for the implementation of Industry 4.0 projects. «If we talk about the demand for design engineers, our need is 64 people, process engineers — 130 people, software engineers — 85 people, test engineers — 127 people. Our largest overgrowth is for turners, fitters and milling machine operators — 656 people,» shared Arseniy Brykin.

Speaking about the changes that are necessary in the training of personnel for industry, Deputy Director General — Director of the Engineering Competencies Block of the Rosatom Corporate Academy Alexey Ponomarenko noted: «What was previously relevant for higher education programs and training of elite engineers, today should become, well, if not basic, then at least a very widespread skill and knowledge for a wide range of workers. Because if your engineer, linear, standard, can calculate such a solution today, it means that tomorrow he will certainly be able to master a new programming language, allowing us to move together to some new generation.»

According to Nikolay Tabakov, Director of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Institute for the Development of Professional Education, a new tool in preparing the SPO system to the requirements of Industry 4.0 has become a technology park. «Everything is always born from inter-industry interactions, and everything new is born only with certain experiments. The Ministry of Education does not stand still either, it develops, reacts to the changes that occur in the economy. And now two new tools are being created, two technology parks. The technology park in the Kaluga region has been operating for the second year. And in the near future, a technology park will be opened in the Nizhny Novgorod region, which will represent 8 industries on the territory of 43 laboratories. This is a new infrastructure aimed at improving the qualifications of teaching staff. We cannot talk about the quality of education, forgetting about the development of our personnel reserve, namely the system. And in order for the system to develop in the right direction, we must show them general trends, infrastructure requirements, new methods. «And technology parks are the tools that seek out these new methods, test them and prepare them for scaling,» Nikolai Tabakov emphasized in his speech.
