President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Roskosmos Russian space agency's head Dmitry Rogozin. The parties discussed the implementation of joint Russo-Belarusian space projects.


In a conversation with Rogozin, the head of the state noted that space development is one of the priority spheres for Belarus due to its «high technology» nature.

You have an ambitious program, and we are considering participating in it, stated the Belarusian leader.

The politician emphasized that so far, Minsk is not taking the first steps in space, but just the possible steps towards it, reports BelTA news agency.

Earlier, NEWS.ru reported that Belarus and Russia discussed cooperation after the government's resignation.
