Huawei plans to expand the Russian research and development centers' staff. The company intends to hire more than 1,500 people over the next 5 years.
The expansion of the local research base will open up new jobs for talented scientists who will work on the advanced technologies study in Russia while developing solutions that meet the global ICT industry requirements, informs PRIME media citing RIA Novosti news agency's interview with Huawei representative.
At the moment the Chinese company has two local R&D centers in Moscow (400 employees) and in St. Petersburg (150 specialists). Huawei plans to open three new R&D centers by the end of 2019. The cities chosen by the company are not disclosed yet.
