The Forbes magazine has revealed inaccuracies in Bloomberg's ranking of the world's wealthiest people that put Elon Musk in second place.

According to the publication, today, the Tesla and SpaceX founder's fortune is estimated at $126.8 billion. In comparison, Amazon head Jeff Bezos has $182.6 billion, followed by LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, whose wealth is estimated at $140.6 billion, according to Lenta.ru.

Bloomberg earlier reported that Elon Musk had outstripped Bill Gates and took second place in the wealthiest people ranking.

Elon Musk said in the summer of 2020 that he was not interested in such rankings. According to him, the numbers are continually changing, while he needs to create things that are truly important and interesting to people.

NEWS.ru reported earlier that head of SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk ranked second in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI) ranking of the wealthiest people in the world.
