The price of January futures for Brent crude oil on the ICE exchange in London has increased by 2.38 percent to the previous trading level and reached $46.03 per barrel.
The last time Brent was trading above $46 per barrel on September 2.
The price of Brent crude oil at $46.03 per barrel was recorded at 11:22 Moscow time, and by 11:35 Moscow time, Brent was trading at $46.04 per barrel (+ 2.4 percent).
The price of WTI crude oil was at around $43.32 per barrel, which is 2.12 percent higher than the previous session’s closing level.
According to the Moscow Exchange trading data as of 10:48 Moscow time, the US dollar rate dropped to 75.76 rubles, the euro rate - to 89.91 rubles.
