Russian Defense Ministry publishes maps of peacekeeping mission in Karabakh

The Russian Defense Ministry has published maps of the peacekeeping mission on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. One of the maps shows the locations of observation posts in the Lachin corridor, which connects Azerbaijan and Armenia, RIA Novosti reports.

The other two maps show the entry of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military District into the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone and the general situation on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh as of November 11.

In total, Russia will deploy 1,960 servicemen, 90 armored personnel carriers, and 380 units of military equipment to Karabakh. To date, more than 400 Russian peacekeepers have arrived in the conflict zone. The contingent's core is made up of units of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military District. The command will be located near Stepanakert (Khankendi). Russian observation posts will be set up along the Lachin corridor, which connects Azerbaijan and Armenia.
