Russian coronavirus vaccine to be produced in Belarus

Belarus plans to gradually switch to the production of the Russian coronavirus vaccine on its soil, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Minsk Dmitry Mezentsev.


The institutions of Belarus and Russia closely cooperate. In the near future, we have to reach the gradual localization of the Russian vaccine’s production in Belarus, TASS quoted Golovchenko.

Kyrgyzstan has refused to accept a free batch of Pfizer - BioNTech coronavirus vaccine offered by the US due to difficulties in storing the drug, NEWS.ru reported earlier.
