Armenian health minister resigns

The Armenian Health Minister Arsen Torosyan has submitted a letter of resignation, reports citing the country's government.

Torosyan has held the post since May 2018. He is also in the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract Party.

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has already received Nikol Pashinyan's motion to dismiss Torosyan from his post, Presidential aide Hasmik Petrosyan said.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan earlier said that there are forces striving to sow chaosin the country by their actions.
