The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation plans to allow the resumption of film production in the country in June. Thus, the studios will not miss the summer season of filming due to bans on public events in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
Deputy Culture Minister Maxim Ksenzov announced the decision to allow filmmakers to return to filming sites, TASS reported.
According to the deputy minister, each studio will decide on the resumption of filming based on the epidemiologists' statements.
I hope that the season will not be entirely lost for those who planned shooting in the summer, Ksenzov added.
NEWS.ru also reported that California Governor Gavin Newsom has allowed the resumption of filming in Hollywood after June 12.
